1. Who we are
Give Me The Dish (“the Site”) is owned and operated by Fuzzy Tech LLC, a Washington limited liability company based in Bellingham, Washington (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the Site.
2. What the Site is
The Site is a free, community-maintained listing of happy hours, food specials, and drink deals at businesses in and around Bellingham, WA. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any venue listed here unless we say so explicitly. Standard venue listings are free and community-sourced. Venues may purchase optional “Featured” placement to highlight their listings; all such placements are clearly labelled as sponsored, and paid placement never alters spin-the-wheel odds or editorial standards.
3. Deal information is not a guarantee
Deal times, prices, and details come from venue websites, public sources such as OpenStreetMap, and submissions from the public. They go out of date, and venues change their offerings without telling anyone. We make no promise that any deal is currently running, correctly described, or honored at the price shown.
Call the venue before you go if it matters. Any decision you make based on the Site is your own.
4. Alcohol and age
Some listings describe alcoholic beverages. Washington State law requires you to be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol, and venues set their own age policies. Nothing on the Site is an invitation to anyone under 21 to buy alcohol. Please drink responsibly and arrange a safe way home.
5. What you submit
When you suggest a deal, report an update, claim a venue, or send feedback, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. Don’t submit anything confidential, defamatory, or copied from a source that prohibits reuse.
By submitting content you grant Fuzzy Tech LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit, publish, and display that content on the Site and in related material. You keep whatever rights you already had in it. We review submissions before publishing and may edit or decline any of them for any reason.
6. Saving and sharing the wheel’s picture
The wheel’s “Save pick” button makes a square image of the result and hands it to your device. The image is drawn inside your browser and is never uploaded to us. How it is saved depends on the device you are on — an iPhone or iPad is offered its own share sheet, because that is the only way a web page can reach your photos; other devices download the file. The Site counts that a pick was saved and which broad kind of device saved it, and nothing else about you; see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that count holds.
The image includes a venue’s name and the deal as we have it recorded, which is subject to section 3 above — it may be out of date by the time anyone sees it. You are welcome to post or send it. What your device, your operating system, or the app you send it to then does with the file is outside our control.
7. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- submit deliberately false, misleading, or spam listings;
- use scripts, bots, or multiple devices to manipulate votes or confirmations;
- scrape, bulk-copy, or resell the Site’s content as a competing listing service;
- attempt to access administrative pages, APIs, or data you aren’t authorized to use;
- interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or use it to break any law.
We may block access, remove content, or discard votes and confirmations that appear to violate these rules.
8. Venues: corrections, claims, and removal
If you own or manage a listed venue and something is wrong, use the Suggest a deal form or the “Report update” link on the listing and we’ll correct it. If you’d like your venue removed from the Site entirely, email us at legal@givemethedish.com or fuzzywonstudios@gmail.com. We honor all verified removal requests within 48 business hours — no questions asked.
9. Copyright & DMCA notice
Fuzzy Tech LLC respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) at legal@givemethedish.com (or fuzzywonstudios@gmail.com) including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the material to remove, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
10. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, code, logo, and name are © Fuzzy Tech LLC and may not be copied or reused without written permission, except as allowed by law.
Third-party material keeps its own license:
- Venue names, addresses, and coordinates originate in part from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
- Maps are rendered with Leaflet, used under its BSD 2-Clause license.
- Venue names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used here to identify the businesses being described.
10. Links to other sites
The Site links to venue websites and other third-party pages. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
11. Availability
The Site is provided free of charge and may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fuzzy Tech LLC and its members, officers, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on information found here — including a deal that turned out not to exist. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Fuzzy Tech LLC harmless from claims and costs arising out of content you submit or your misuse of the Site.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Whatcom County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
